I have a 73 and the previous owner said wipers worked fine. I have power to the wires, and I have power to the motor. I can't get the motor to turn. Any tips? _________________ Ray

Unfortunately, that is a typical problem with the wiper motor. If you are sure that you have 12v to the motor then you could have alignment issues with the armature and the housing. The armature is rubbing on the fixed magnet and can not turn when 12v power is supplied. You could also have an issue with the connector block but most the time it is an alignment problem. I can take a look at it for you if you would like. |

I didn't use a voltmeter, only a light. I can check it with a volt meter. Is the motor easy to remove? I have never had to do with either of my other 2 cars. _________________ Ray
