Hi Guys
my first post on this site
normally a silent accumulator of the knowledge shared here
i just started working on a 52 split
have finished the flooring so finally got the body off and started wok on the suspension, brakes and mechanical
when i looked at the gear box mounting and the gear box, it was very new to me
never had the usual two side mounting , had a single piece which i tried to find online but could not
needed to know whether my gear box is correct or is it a bus gear box, also where could i find this mounting.
have uploaded a picture with the part number as well
below part number are on the gear box
21.02.4
21.09.1
21.01.4

that is the correct transaxle and cradle for a 52 split.
new cradles/mounts are not available, you may need to have it 'restored' with new rubber bonded between the two pieces of metal. _________________ drive your split. |

Look in the parts listing on samba. They appear from time to time. There may still be one recently listed there. |
