sorry.. I thought you can use a big french parts distributor in europe..but still is not open in italy. (oscaro.it).

NAPA 1010 works well. Comes with a rubber gasket that seals perfectly.

Don’t you have any large chain of generic auto parts stores in Italy? If you do, next time go to your local store and ask them for a oil filter for a Porsche 356 or 912. I would be surpriced if they couldn’t take one home for you. You could also buy one from any of the european internet based parts store, for example https://www.auto-doc.it/pezzi-di-ricambio/filtro-olio-10359/porsche/912/912-1965/7609-1-6 or http://www.mister-auto.it/it/filtro-olio/porsche-912-1-6-66kw_v7609_g7.html I usually add filters and other small ”good to have home” parts when ordering something else to save on the shipping.

I use the MAHLE OX79D oil filter cartridge in my VW's Porsche 356 Filter Housing.
