Len, I forgot to ask; How much paint did you buy/use on the tub and hood? ..maybe you mentioned coats of color? Thanks.

How many coats of base?
How many quarts did you use?

Not sure on the base, have a lot of the base left. I bought a gallon of the blue base and a gallon of the clear, he used 3/4 of a gallon of clear just on the body you see here, not the hood .He also sprayed a white sealer before the blue. There is 6 coats of clear. Those pics are only one coat clear.. He said the pics do not do it any justice. Everything came from TCP Global very reasonable prices.
I will be wet sanding it on Sunday.

Thanks for the complements , I have very little blue left after painting the car , engine tin and roll bar. He did put a lot of coats on the car, I wanted it that way , he could have used less clear but I wanted that wet look and not have to worry abut buffing thru the clear.
I am working on the interior when I can . Its almost ready for the road.. another 12 years... Very Happy Very Happy

Sorry, I didn't see it in the chain; I didn't think too much base. I'd like to shoot a 60's color with a similar look of the period. Clear is wonderful tho'.

The dash is Visually striking. I want to copy your result. One question is the paint UV resistant?

The steering wheel was just to turn it, wall hanger.. I ordered a billet one today.
For those who were asking about the steering column I had to replace my turn signal switch with a new one I had broke the arm on the old one . They must be different diameters by a little, the new did not fit had to grind it out a bit.

Looking very nice!

I used a wheel very similar and really like the feel and how it made the interior pop with it.

But for some reason that escapes me, I had to machine the adapter down a little.
