I collect anything related to the Union Rairoad. Not to be confused with the Union Pacific. The Union is in Pittsburgh, PA area and was created to haul raw materials molten iron hot slabs and finished products for the steel mills in the area.

I have a lot of the commons items but a few interesting items as well, my favorite stuff are the old switch locks, and signal lights, probably the rarest are a collection of blueprints for their company logos used in the old car repair shops.

I like all things Volkswagen so I ended up acquiring these two items. People collect all kinds of odd things but they don’t think it’s odd. Every year for the last 41years people from around the country come here for the antique sign and bottle and advertising show and somehow among all that I found these.

I collect wind up gramophones, 78 RPM records, early 1930s record changers, early experimental LPs from the 1930s, etc.

I also collect license plates... not to mention VWs and Mercedes to put them on... Laughing

I am interested in getting some equipment to play 78rpm records. Any advice? Websites? Makes/models? playing through modern speakers would be nice. I have a pretty decent stack and know of a place pretty tucked out of the way that is sitting on a massive collection I could probably buy all at once. PM me if that's easier...

I collect a lot of beer related stuff. I have a few old beer signs, but my big collection is growlers from all the breweries I've visited. Everywhere I go, I try and find a local brewery and get a growler from them. I currently have about 35 different ones.

Rapidographs, yes. All manner of drafting gear, including a few 60 and 72 inch T squares.
Kohinoor metal lead holders, leads, etc.
18" Architects scale was the latest addition.

I don't collect drafting equipment but spent 10 years on a drafting table for a metal fabricating company. I was still in college when they hired me in the early 80's. I still have all my old tools and still use them.
