Hello to all!

It is hard to believe we are just six weeks away from the start of Northwest MogFest once again. It is not too late to make plans to join in the fun! In addition to Unimogs, Pinzgauers, Volvo 4x4 and 6x6 C-series, Land Rovers/Range Rovers/Discoveries/etc., a Saurer, MANY VW Syncros and Westafalia campers awell as other Volkswagen models, Ural motorcycles and other European vehicles, Haflingers will once again play a prominent role. The number of expedition/overland/back country exploration vehicles attending also continues to grow. Who knows? You may even see a 1943 Typ166 Schwimmwagen.

If you would like to attend this invitation-only event, please go to: http://www.northwestmogfest.com/invite
Scroll down and click on "RSVP for NWMF..." and take it from there.

The dates for our 19th annual event are August 16th-19th.

The address for the farm is:

29870 SW Mill Creek Rd.
Sheridan, Oregon
97378

Our theme this year is Waldersee Mardi Gras. That’s right! Another opportunity to dress up in costume and we will have a light parade around the pits on Friday and Saturday nights. Please bring costumes and masks and noisemakers as well as your own supply of beads for throwing. There are several on-line sources for "throws" and most local party stores can be of help as well. An excellent one is https://mardigrasspot.com/

“Laissez les bons temps rouler!” (Let the good times roll!)

The large field closest to the river has been in heavily irrigated corn the last few years. This considerably restricted access to a tremendous chunk of the property. It was in grass seed this year and has now been windrowed/harvested. This should afford more room to play.

Off farm vehicle activities will be available as long as the forest is not closed due to fire danger. I do know a Haflinger group is planning a trail ride relatively nearby

Yoga will once again be offered so bring mats if you would like to participate in those practices. We do have some spare mats to loan out just in case.

See you in Mogust 2018.
Take care.
Jim
