I can't believe how much it is right now so... bidding is already maxed out?
Engine # looks like 20-1102998 so June, 1955:
Looks pretty original with the 1955 fuel pump, spring clip distributor, etc.
Double pulley on the lower pulley? |
wow that is some weird looking rust/corrosion, wonder what the accessory pulley was for? |

WOW!!!! that is very impressively terrible. Not sure that the word horrible even comes close to describing this engine. so sad to see all those early parts ruined.
I bet they still say "ran when parked", hahaha.

Please send me that distributor, I bet I can get it working again.
After all, I rebuilt the one in Manny's Rug Works 3 times.
Originally
After tropical storm Irene when it was submerged in salt water
After tropical storm Sandy when submerged again in salt water.

If you want a real challenge I have an early Bosch distributor that I’m pretty sure came off the Titanic!😄 _________________ 53 Canadian standard oval

Sounds like Manny needs to move further inland, like maybe Illinois. _________________ Good Luck

Does anyone know who won the bid and their intensions? I'm shocked that any of that rust is worth restoring but I've been surprised before. _________________ American Red Cross Safe And Well:
