Just an inquiry. I am interested in a HWE style roof rack and I have tried contacting ezcamper through phone calls, pm on the samba, email through samba and have left voice messages on website number but no reply. Does anyone know if he's still selling these roof racks or if he's out of town. I have heard great things about this seller and would really like to purchase a rack and other parts but have gotten no reply.
Oh yeah even tried purchasing them online but website is saying temporarily out of service. Which is why I was doing the inquiry.
Thanks in advance, Peter |

Yes definitely good rack builders, Unfortunately Brendon in California does not ship racks and Rusties in Canada sells kits and I truly wanted the experts with roof rack welding experience to weld the rack for me. I can weld, but it will be a nail biting learning experience for me and I already have a full plate of welding and grinding to do. I was highly recommended ezcamper for his great roof rack work and was hopeful to get one. Plus I also wanted a few other parts from him and hoping for a one stop shop.
Thanks type2rescuemaine for the suggestions and appreciate you replying. I may just have to be patient and see. I also have a local show comin up
Circle Yer Wagens in Sevierville, Tenn I may get lucky at so patience just may pay off.
Thanks again, Peter |

I have dealt with Chad (aka EZCamper) and have nothing but good things to say. Not sure what is going on other than there must be some good reason why he is not getting back to you. I believe this is his livelihood so I would expect you should hear back soon. |

Hey velvetgreen I know you are right. I have heard nothing but good things about Chad and will be patient. Hopefully all is well with him and his family. Maybe he is doing another big run of roof racks keeping it a secret and can get one of those when they are done! Fingers crossed! |

Hello, I'm here. Still making racks and selling parts. It's a part time job and my full time job has been crazy busy. (I work in International Transportation with emphasis on Military / Fema moves in the Caribbean basin).... The ready made parts ship right away but racks / ladders, and other parts I make have a bit of a wait. Once I sell my Ultima Beetle I'll have a dedicated place to make stuff... right now, I have to wait until I have free time and good weather. Kids are getting older so free time it getting less and less. It's time to get some welding help! _________________ I make HWE style roof racks, Jim-Dandy racks, SO-33 metal parts, Dormobile racks, HWE style ladders, engine crank start handles, Westy rack tags, Binz tags, Sundial badges, State of California tags, steering lock electrical covers and single / double cab gate latch friction blocks.

Thats Awesome!! I actually had 2 half racks and sold one, went with a double cab I sold and the other I sold to a friend. I am really wanting a 78" for my Kombi. Here is a ad I put for it just in case anyone reads this and has one for sale.

We are happy to weld up roof racks and ship them at Rusties.
But please note, shipping a full rack is quite expensive.
So we also offer kits for those that can weld.
Cheers!
