Hi!

Im starting to fit a 83mm Mahle kit to a 40hp from 1961 (factory refurbished once). I have bought a set of 1:1.25 lifter from CB for it, but I read that some put 1.25 on the intake, and 1.1 lifters on exhaust.

Is this a better solution? Is it not necessary with more lift on the exhaust?
Probably give less stress at the exhaust valve train.

The exhaust already can pump more air than the intake, so simply running them on the intake is a economical way to go.
