I suppose it's possible a shorting EM jet could bring down the ignition voltage and affect both carbs as well as the spark. I haven't had that happen to me, however. |
Sorry but what is EM jet |
Electro Mechanical jet. |
OK, I guess my carb has one, I need to know where its. |

It's not very common for them to go bad though. also, they are on the same wire coming from your ignition to your coil which we went over earlier |

Ok thanks for the clarification, I call it "idle cut off valve".
The one on the right does not click, not sure if this is the problem but Im waiting for a replacement one this week, engine should still run on two cylinders, mine just dies" |

It might stall out anyway.
If you unscrew the little screw there by the electrical post, it should turn it "off" so that it's not blocking fuel flow for the idle circuit. |
Ok I will see when I get the replacement one.
Thanks |

Problem solved. Once I replaced the right hand side cut off valve, the car never stalled again however with the new cut off valve the idle went down like by 800 RPM, I brought it back up but not sure why I had adjust the idle again.
Thanks for all the help ! |
