I found a person on facebook who has a 1950 Barndoor Deluxe which
is certificated from wolfsburg. I just want to share with you. I don't now the last condition of the bus. Updated photos will be share here Smile

Late 1961-early 1964 cab doors, 1963 and later front door window assemblies, reflector dimples on both rear corners, not likely any older than mid 1952.

I knew about this bus for years. Said to be a 51.

Yes, there have been some pictures posted before of this bus.
No sign of any early rear bumper trim holes either. 53/54/55?
Looks to have been picked up by a grabber crane at some point.

Please get us the VIN. A good shot of the engine bay would confirm early/late.

Yes, spare tire tray drain tube and trans cradle tube shape will help, too.

I've been in touch with the owner a few years back, who always said the bus is a 51 but from the pictures I have it is FOR SURE 53-55....

Late dashpod holder, long e-brake handle, no deep skylight etc etc

This bus would look really cool rolling on those gigantic gears. Just think of the terrain it could (not) cover!

I think that's how it looks without the long Deluxe pod in there?
The base structure is the same.
