On the topic of removing door trim panels, the Bentley manual says to use a wooden wedge to pry the panel off. What tool do you actually use? Thanks. |

That was in the days before this:

Where you need a stronger tool, a metal screwdriver or small pry bar works fine with a layer of duct tape for protection. Be gentle. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

I have one of these... the orange handle. Well I HAD the orange handled version until I broke it prying an access panel off a wing lol. The snapon guy was cool about it when I was honest about how I broke it, and he replaced it with a black handled version, which I think has a slightly different bend to the shaft for a different leverage angle. Same style tip though, and notice there are several variations of the tip and bend angle...

It is an excellent tool for what it's intended for. I'm sure OEM and some other generic tool mfrs have the same kind of tool for much less, at your FLAPS. _________________ Robert in Memphis

I have the one from Harbor freight...and another five piece set from Autozone with totally different shapes. I think I spent $7 between the two sets. They have paid for themselves about 20X. Worth evwry penny. Ray |
