Can anyone refer me to a VW engine yolk that I can use on a standard engine stand that I already have?

I don't want (can't use) a bench mount and I don't want to buy a new engine stand when I already have a good pedestal.

Thanks.

You will probably have to buy a bench mount.....take off the yoke and build up the straight section that the T bolt holds, so it will fit in your engine stand. Usually the engine stands are larger here than the VW yokes are.

I took a pipe with the inside diameter matching the VW engine mounting bracket, welded it on top of the existing engine stand tube and welded support straps on either side to keep it from "rolling" under heavy weight/stress. Now I have two tubes, one for VW and one for other engines. Works great - I have an engine on it now.

We have a dedicated engine stand topic: https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=288599

The VWAlley stand is what you need.
