UPDATE!!
Hello all!
Last night I finished the rear side mold of the bulkhead mat! I was holding the update until this mold was done, it took almost 2 weeks and a lot of work. Here is a sequence of pictures that show the process:
The mold boxes for the other molds just arrived! They should be ready while the bulkhead molds are ready. I need the complete set to start production.
I have a request: the front floor passenger side mat I have is a reproduction. I mentioned this to few forum friends and I had 3 leads to get a good original. Unfortunately 2 were not good and the one that was very nice, is a smooth type mat! I need the pebble type. Please contact me if you can let me borrow a good original.
I received color samples, they are close but not dead on. Working on that.
I been preparing the pieces of the master mat. The next step is to create it on the car until it looks just like the original and then go to the process of making the front side mold!
Then I need to go back to New Jersey to be trained on the rubber spray system they developed.
Also, I been working planning the production line.
If all goes well, in about 2 to 3 weeks I should start making sets!
Cheers!
Luis |

Not trying to be negative about the matt project, but I have done a lot of fiber glass mold work thru the years, and the molds need to be absolutely perfect or all the flaws will show... those molds look very crude. is there more finishing to be done on them? |

I'm starting to assemble my 1956 and these items showed up. The car is Gazelle Beige. The fragment of the tunnel mat shows it to be brown and the floor mats black, which confirms he speculation.
Any updates on the mats? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Hello all Founder Members and followers,
Almost two weeks behind schedule, last night I finalized the Master Model. It took hundreds of hours and many unexpected challenges to go through. I used the minimum number of pieces posible and it added up to 19.
One great outcome for RHD owners:
The RHD front mat is going to be available!
From the Master Model I can create both versions. For the LHD option I have all the correct positioning detais. For the RHD option I need to validate the position of the high beam foot switch, the chock cable entrance to the right of the stering column and the pedal details.
I feel that the RHD owners that are in this forum deserve the same special pricing as the founder members. I will send them a COUPON CODE shortly.
At this time the PRODUCTION COUPON IS ON. Go to LowLightWerks.com to become a member with still a great price. This promotional price will end when shipping starts (2-4 weeks).
