I'm currently restoring my '66 convertible top and I am a bit lost on how to locate and understand where things are not tidy as they should... These two bolts look a bit loose and one of them has a washer missing. I was told there is a plastic bushing somewhere too.

Is there a previous post where I could get clues on how to fix the all frame and get it working well? I will let the upholstery to a professional later.

You were told correctly; you're missing the bushings:

Check the karmannghia.com/airheadparts.com website. There are several threads here, as well as the stickies, that deal with the range of issues folks have had with top frames, but I don't think any one thread is comprehensive.
