Anyone know where to buy the keyway to lock in the generator pulley?

It's called a Woodruff key, that might help you find it. _________________ 1965 Volkswagen 1500 Variant S

I think it's the same as a beetle gen pulley. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Axactly, the "keyway" is the spot on the shaft that the woodruff key fits into. _________________ There are no stupid questions, only stupid people,

Did you loose yours, or was it getting wobbly or loose. If it was getting loose, get a new woodruff key, pulley and a tube of Loctite bearing retainer. squirt the Loctite in the key way, on the key and on the generator shaft, only where the front pulley will go. Let it cure, then install the gen belt. It will get many more miles out of a gen with a slopped out keyway. Its semi permanent, but a little heat, will allow it to release.
However, if you just lost the key, disregard the Loctite part. _________________ 69 road Bug 2110
