I have no idea either but I like the color. I am amazed at how many different Buggies were produced out there.

Take it to all the VW meets around you, it could be something that was produced locally and someone will recognize it.

Whatever it is enjoy it!

Does anyone else think that could be a Model T style hood without the grill shell?

It does look like it was designed to accept some sort of grill shell.

Do you have a side view of it? Just curious to see if it is on a shortened pan or full length.

Yup it appears to be built on a shortened Beetle pan. I LOVE the wheels! Any brand name on them? It looks like they use adaptors to a VW bolt pattern.

The Missus and I are planning a trip to BC this summer in our Buggy and I was wondering if our paths would cross but Bowser is not anywere near Vernon/Kamloops area so not likely.

I do have 3 cousins and several friends in your area that I don't see very often though...

Have fun with that great ride!

I noticed the wheels as well . . . Don't remember seeing them on a buggy before . . . cool!
I believe they are "Star-Wires" by Cragar.

My sister and husband lived in Nanaimo for 10 years, a cousin there yet, a cousin in Campbell River, another has a resort out there somewhere too, friends in Parksville and Victoria so we have lots of reasons to visit there again. Maybe next year...

Ya these wheels are sweet! Nice to see something unique and they suit the Buggy well.
