I didn't show the removal of the window from the bus as there are many of those on line.
Theses photos show the wing adjuster that needs to be removed

You can see the top pin and then the tension piece needs a little persuasion but will come off after you remove the screw.

So here is a picture of the tensioner from the right wing. Keep them safe.

So you see where I pried the top hinge out so I can remove the glass. Also you see the bottom that will need some work as many have stated the rivet is rotted. I'm going to fit a brass on in if possible or spot weld it.

So you see the groove at the bottom of the frame that lets you remove the bottom end. Takes some hand power but can be done

There are some tabs that everyone talks about. These are a couple of pics of them one bent out and the other not.

In this photo PLEASE take a picture on how the vertical rubber goes as when you try to replace it you will have forgotten how it goes in. NOT EASY.
WaLa. Rubber is out. Don't throw it away 😉😉

ALRIGHT THEN off to bead blast it and paint.
I'll get back soon.
Here is what she is starting to look like. Blacking all the windows out except the fronts. Put a 4" shade on the windshield.

So here is the original wing I have been working on, the problem after getting a new rivet in was to get the window lined up with the slotted hole, on top of that is to get the slot in the window pin to slip into the small part of the slot.

To end the day, I had to use a small C clamp to get the tensioner back in the correct place. As you can see in the last two pics I have a little problem with lining up the glass. Keep you posted.

thanks for the great write up on the installation - Related question : I have new seals on the vent wing rear window.

Now the question is how do you get the glass pane into the frame with the seal on? I tried inserting it with the lower pivot in ( one with the clamp - but then the top one just hits the metal frame - ( not mounting on the bs - there are multiple threads on that )
