My 67 Fastback - What is chrome and what is stainless?

I recently purchased this 67 Fastback and I love it! It has a lot of original parts on it. The bumpers have some dings and scratches. I am assuming they are chrome and it would be hard to shine them up.

The hood pull aslo has scratches, but it appears to be stainless. Can i fine sand it and then polish it?

Bumpers, mirror arms, and lights (turn signals and headlight rings) are Chrome. Window frames and trim are aluminum and are "bright dip" (a form of anodizing). I think the body trim is also bright dipped but not sure if it's aluminum, though I believe it is. I don't have any trim for my Notch.
