Anyone have any info on this crank? All I know is that it is a 2332. The dowel holes are oblonged it needs to be replaced. I just don't know if it's VW or Chevy jurnal. Don't have time to tear it apart at the moment.

That's a picture of the nose of the crankshaft. Those markings represent something in regards to the machinist. Hope someone has more info.

Yep, you are right. That is a pic of the nose of a vw crank. Those markings mean nothing. Really, you should take pics of the crank.

It's going to have to come out to be repaired. No sense in delaying the inevitable. Or even trying to convince yourself that it's not coming out, cause it is.

I knew it was a shot in the dark. But you can't blame me for trying! Heading to the parts store today and was hoping someone would recognize it. Wanted to order a new one.

You are not ready to order anything until you tear your old engine apart and see what you got. How do you know what size crank you really have? How do you know what size bearings you need? If you are gonna buy new parts what improvements or upgrades can you make that are worthwhile?
