86 or bigger crank.force feed it if thats not enough.either belt driven turbo or std blower or crank mounted super charger. you can get turbo pistons for the 4.6~5.4 ford for great price and have 4 left over. Wink

I spent the day at the Kent, Wa. VW nationals yesterday.....

I watched a big stroker with turbo run a high 15 second quarter on his worst run and and his best run was a 14.45 second run. Averages were about 14.70 seconds.
I also watched a stock 1600 with supercharger run from high sixteens to a best of 15.47 seconds.

Size does not dictate power or speed............

Cool, yeah I was there too. Did you see my blue 68? Didnt run it because of a pushrod issue. The orange bug that was running crappy times is a new build And something the guy was new to. Thing sounded bad go ok my down the track. Not real zippy. His turbo wasnt spooling up until about 4500 rpm. Issues

I did not see your car there......But I wasn't expecting it to be there either so I might have walked right on by it and it didn't click with me..
Was it in the car show????

There were a quite a few cars that didn't get a good run.

Looks like there's plenty of room for duals, if you just run them outside of the bars.

What the heck Smile

It's been a while since I've seen a progressive anywhere other than on a Baja. Neat.
