On some distys this isn’t correct. The firing order of course is but #1 is back right, #4 is front right etc. need to know what distributor they have.

Right, and diagram also assumes that the distributor drive shaft was installed correctly, something we here know is not always done right.

Find #1 TDC by looking at pulley AND #1 valve position, make sure rotor is under wire for #1 plug, then order of rotation from there as shown.

Any new ideas on my no lights, horn, wipers etc, and no spark. but the motor turn over. 70 Beetle. thanks!

Get a multimeter and start checking for where the voltage is and stops at.
