I have a 74 engine in a Baja that I've decided to use in my 70 Bay project. Do I use a 70 clutch kit or 74 - or is there a difference? Also, any recommendations on quality?

Just a guess but it would depend on the throw out bearing style in the final project I would think. Some clutches have a ring and some do not.

And on the ones that have the ring, the ring is removable there days. I'd order for the 1970 Bus.

My bigger concern is whether that '74 engine case has the correct threaded bosses to mount the engine carrier.

Plan is to use one of those adapter thingees that bolt to the oil pump case - not ideal - but
