Ya know, out of this kind of build, this is the least offensive one I have seen. There was some thought and a lot of work put into it. Still not my cup of tea, but really not too bad. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life. |

Couldn't find a different front bumper that didn't cover half the headlights? |

This..is pretty good. It might need to be chopped a few inches otherwise I'd happily roll it! |

Yeah - I like that and totally agree that a slight chop (maybe 2"?) would pull it together better. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

How the hell do you turn that thing with those huge tires up front?? Obviously another one of those rides that was built for show and no go. |
Pretty sure there's a few slammed car with as little turning radius as this. |
Not so much turning radius as actually turning them. That's got to have either a modified gear box, or really big arms. |
I am guessing a V8 backed power steering pump would have no problem with the task. _________________ nothing |

Saw two cool ones at the Acton, Maine VW show this past Sunday:
Cool rat rod (notice the beetle popouts for windshields and backward beetle body as roadster body):
