I got an Amazon gift card and was looking at all the VW books on there and it got me thinking; It would be great to hear what you all think are the best VW books.

Many threads on this (use search!), and it all depends what you are looking for: Beginner? Lots of photos? History? Restoration? Repair? Entertainment?

... don't know if Amazon sells, Car of the Century, by JT Garwood, but is the best VW set of books ever, in my opinion.

A lot does depend on what you are looking for. I have a without guess work book. It for the mechanic/machinist type of person, not your leave on the coffee table book.

Really, it's been covered many, many times. Maybe start here:
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=537269

As I posted, it depends on what you are looking for. "Favorite" depends on the purpose. I like almost all of them for what they are, and it varies tremendously.
