My two front wheels on my stock '57 Beetle have developed a real strong drag. They are hard to spin by hand when I jack them up off the ground. It is as if the brakes are partially on. (The emergency brake is not on.) The rear wheels spin fine. Anyone with an idea as to what might be my problem?

Jack it up and open the bleeder. If the release of fluid helps, then you have a fluid pressure issue. If it remains static, then you have a binding wheel cylinder piston or the adjustment is too tight.

Back off the adjustment and retest.
