| Hello all, I recently bought my wife an 83 Mercedes 240D, one owner, awsesome condition, that was originally sold At Terry Feldmann Imports, in the Minneapolis, Mn. area. I would love to find a chrome license plate frame for it. If anyone know someone, somewhere, who could make this happen, that would be great, thanks. Cliff Waugaman in western Pa. |

Is this a VW dealer too? I don't see it listed but if it was 1980s it might not be listed on this site since we mostly have the earlier dealers.
Either way, I would start searching and watching eBay. There are a zillion plate frames on there all the time and if one exists, it's probably just a matter of time.

Put that you want to buy one in your sig line. I had a couple of extra old plate frames from OG dealers from the 60's sitting around. One day I noticed that someone wanted a dealer frame from the dealer that I had frames for. I messaged him and he bought it. You never know what you'll stumble across while reading threads here on The Samba.
You might get more hits on an MB board also.

| I just naturally come to THESAMBA boards first, cause if the inmates at THESAMBA don't got it, do I really need it? Your right, I will try the Mercedes groups in the next few days. |

Good point, It wouldn't surprise me if a VW person had a zillion non-VW plate frames too and happened to have it.
I wonder if Ford/Chevy/etc. people are the kind of people to have a zillion plate frames and be more or less likely to have some random VW/Mercedes/German/Euro ones mixed in
