Installed a remanufactured starter and a new battery. Now , I have a turnkey 6 volt car. _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.
I recycle old cars and parts, other than when I rot, that's as Green as I am going to get.
Thanks to my Tesla driving neighbors, I feel more relaxed driving my SUBURBAN and old VW's.

Is replacing the starter similar to a bug? Are both nuts accessible from under the car? Or one in the engine compartment and the other under the car? _________________ '67 Squareback

Been in the process of replacing the rear brakes, wheel cylinders, drums, shoes. Front rubber lines. Gathering the items for the top end replacement. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

Tram suggests using a propane torch to warm the undercoating up, and using a scraper to remove the majority of it. Then use lacquer thinner to clean the rest off. Works very well, as I've done it myself. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Got sick of the Flat-4 BRM's on my car so I.............. made my own billet BRM's out of 6061-T6 alloy and then anodised them, fit them into BBS pattern 15 inch rims and lips.
Now I am happy with my wheels and the best part is, nobody on the planet has the same wheels as these.
Contact me if you are very serious about a set as I can make them easily now. _________________ Aaron
