So I bought an early '62 t34 it had an engine but no cylinders or cylinder heads.

Now I am trying to locate cylinders/liners and heads but as far as I know these are special for early models until 65745 engine number.

So few questions.

-What is the bore for cylinder opening in the head.
-Bore for the cylinder in the crank case (this I could measure from my own but the block is in storage)

And what else is different in the early engine compared to the later model.
I have found out that the oil cooler and the mount is different but are there any other major differences that is not interchangeable from later 1500 engines.

I can't answer any of your questions. However, you never know what the PO did to the engine, so you need to dig it out of storage, and measure the cylinder spigots. It would also be helpful to throw up a couple of pics as well. That way the gurus that know the older T3s can send you down the right path.
