I get a drip out of the CV's on the hottest days here in Phoenix. Have used Sweepco and now trying Red Tech. Does anybody have there own mix to pack there CV's to get a thicker blend? _________________ 78' westy, 2.4 195hp ecotec, audi turbo a/t, a\c, 2 1/2" lift spindles, index rear, 930 cv's & axles, 225x65x17 BFGs ## 77' hardtop 2.0 T-4 duel 44 weber's, 225x50x17s ## 74' baha bug |

Make sure the seal inside the trans drive flange isn't allowing gear oil into the cvs. _________________ foam cowboy hats aren't good helmets. |

If it is an offroad car you do not use the seals, hence my question. _________________ There are no stupid questions, only stupid people,

Why not use the seals? Aside from axle float on certain setups. _________________ Wash your hands

On an offroad car the axle plunges in and out hitting the cap, knocking a hole in it. When you install the cv flange use silicone on the splines as you install it, then after the snapring is in fill that area with the same silicone. I prefere ultra grey. _________________ There are no stupid questions, only stupid people,
