Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had experience installing these injectors: http://www.busdepot.com/022906031d
I bought 4 of them a while ago, but they are completely unlabeled white label product and I’m just a bit hesitant about installing them because of that. No way to tell anything about their quality. Since I’m running Megasquirt I’m also wondering how close they are to the exact specs as the factory injectors when it comes to electrical resistance and flow rate.
Would be happy to hear from anyone who’s running them. _________________ 1978 T2b ASI Riviera Plan I // Camper Special with MegaSquirt Injection & Ignition // 091 with 5.14 R/P and Peloquins LSD

The only way to know for sure is to cobb up a pump, filter, regulator, and gas can, pressurize the injectors and test them. _________________ '71 panel, now with FI

I'm running them. Only have about 300 miles on them, but good so far. |

The injectors are custom run for us by a long established fuel injection specialist, right here in the USA. We have sold thousands without problems. _________________ - Ron Salmon

Thanks for chiming in! I already figured that since you have been selling them for years.
Is there any reason why you are not disclosing who this manufacturer is? I’ve used my bus for overlanding trips and therefore reliability of parts I use is always of a concern, especially since there is quite a bit of garbage out there on the market. As these injectors had no label on them whatsoever, it made me a bit weary about their quality/longevity. _________________ 1978 T2b ASI Riviera Plan I // Camper Special with MegaSquirt Injection & Ignition // 091 with 5.14 R/P and Peloquins LSD

Businesses protect their supply chain relationships for many reasons but preserving margin is most common.

Best way to preserve margarine is to keep it in the fridge. _________________ If you haven't bled on them, you haven't worked on them.

If they are made in the US.....they are most probably either Standard Motor Products (North Carolina) or Denso (Michigan).
I suspect they are Denso because Denso makes it a point to advertise anti-deposit build up pintle technology that BD mentions in the text on their site.
