Looks better like that no doubt!

Always thought the doors looked too short, and the quarter windows too long on these.
Moving the B-pillar back a couple of inches would really set them right;
Stretch those doors..

Your seating is likely to come back more than a bit, I'd imagine, as well.

Finish it off with about a three or four-inch top chop, and here you go.. Twisted Evil

RETROVAN,
The chassis is one that i have designed and i have had lasor cut. the frame is completely universal so will fit under a few different size cars.

made a lot of progress today, got the main chassis all in place and welded and the front suspension crossmember is also now in.

Very nice. It's coming along really good. What front end components are you using for it?

bobnotch,
front end components apart from the bottom arms and hubs are of my own design. put alot of effort in to them as im hoping to be able to sell some of the parts a bit later in the year .
got a bit further, placed the engine in thr front about where its going to go to get an idea of how much room im going to have.
also got one side top wishbone completed.

today managed to get a few hours on the fassty so started to sort the jigs for the rear wishbones, using all the mounts of the original ones. they have to be narrowed 51/2" each side so instead of trying to narrow the original arms im making my own with some cds tubing. got one of the jigs done and cut some tubing to see how they will look.

before i go any further i going to get the other jig to the same point.
