I know it's a certain 'look' but I'm never sure how a car with the paint sanded off
-and in this case sack seat covers - can be described as being in excellent condition

if that thing lost the "rat rod" stuff (door panels, Sack seat covers) the rims and the surf board it would be a cool car. "PATINA" needs to stop being a thing _________________ Dad's 4/55 Oval

Yep, I wouldn't be hating if it had smoothies, vintage speed or stock 36, didn't have the door logo, actually be ok with the sacks if done a little nicer with matching door cards. I'd actually kinda like it. To each their own. |

I wasn't hating the car but my point was the fact its condition was described as excellent.
my car was professionally resprayed a couple of years ago, if I spend a weekend going over it with sandpaper through to the primer will I have improved its condition...? |

I like the outside but I am never ready for the insides being as rough as they are in this type of car. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Yes. It's important to have the best driving experience so the interior should be mint or near mint. Who wants to drive around on bare springs with only covers? This isn't fun at all, I've done it. It's bad for the springs too, they start breaking, as I also found out. _________________ How to Post Photos

so this guy wants 12.5k for a car that has been parked up in the weeds for months. 'the engine ran very well...' but doesn't run at all now. the seller can't be asked to hook up a good battery and some fresh fuel to sort it but this is all it would take....yeah, I'll buy that! |
