It looks like it MIGHT BE. There are a number of modifications. The Type 3 torsion housing is uncommon, but is fine. It will have stouter torsion bars than stock Type 1 torsions. But the arms and hubs are the same as T1. The brakes are bigger, which is good.

In that picture, it appears that the beam leans forward (top tube farther forward than the bottom tube. It SHOULD have negative caster, where the upper tube is farther back than the lower tube. That should be 6-8° negative. To fix that involves cutting the upper frame rail tubes off back of the bend (probably right behind where they've been spliced by someone who cut them off before to put a ball joint beam in), re-setting the caster with the beam clamped in the lower clamps, and making new upper tubes properly spliced to the existing. I recommend using a link pin beam as the car probably had originally.

I would cut out the perforated angle stock from the front too, whatever it was used for. And I would rebuild the front to look like this:

If you want center mount steering box, that's OK. You will have to make a steering shaft with a couple of u-joints in it.

Looks like the perforated angle should unbolt. I hope those are only for rolling around the work area.
