I have somehow lost the wire that connects to the license plate light. I am trying to figure out where the wire should be passing through the firewall and/or where I would find this wire inside the body of the car. I have a wiring diagram, but it will not answer these questions for me. ANY help would be appreciated. |

The red & grey striped tail light wire connects to a four way connector located behind the tar board on the left side of the engine bay, then routes over to the firewall and should come through the firewall tar board either with the main electrical loom near the top left of the tar board or separately near the top middle of the tar board. From there it will pass through a pair of metal retainer clips on the decklid then on to the light assembly. If it comes free from the decklid and is allowed to hang down between the firewall and fan housing, it can possibly be ingested by the fan when the engine is running. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |
