ABS light on

Hi
my ABS light came on along with the EPC light ( triangle with exclamation point with circular counterclockwise arrow)

I replaced the brake light switch because it was intermittently giving me a hard time going from park into gear but the light is still on

I disconnected and then re connected the battery , light is still on

What should I do next?

I don't know the diagnosis sequence, but we had symptoms similar to yours and it turned out to be a worn-out steering position sensor ring. This thread might be worth a look.

Have the ABS module scanned to point you in the right direction. You'll need a slightly more advanced scanner to access this module, not the typical cheapie OBD2 reader.

Some of the big chain auto parts places will perform a simple scan test for free, maybe phone first. Otherwise any shop should be able to scan but they will likely charge a diagnostic fee.
