Hi, I had this skylight in my former T2b Westfalia Helsinki and always thought it was stock. But having had to sell that bus a while back I now have purchased another T2b Westfalia Berlin. However this skylight lacks. I would love to install one in this bus. Any ideas where to find them and what they are.
It’s not the Vanagon one for sure. It’s small and tilts both ways separately or both up with sort of springs. Any advise is welcome.

Like this? This one was originally clear and has been painted. Euro designation - especially Helsinki's have these at times. Very rare now and especially for us in the States. If I ever get around to it Ill remake them. You cant find them new and they never "pop up" - get it - for sale.

I was fortunate to find some older Westfalia items for sale in Germany. Turned out to be the children of a fellow that worked at Westfalia in the 60's and 70's and were going through his estate items. In those items were dealer give aways and some Vanagon & Bay Window workshop manual inserts.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the Westfalia tent insert Im fortunate to have - all falling in line with the 1977 purchase price story I was told by the original owner as well as the short list on this rare Bay Pop up skylight.
To bad they dint find a stash of these skylights, but this is some cool info for anyone wanting to possibly tackle a re-pop. Note as well - mosquito screen for it as well
