I have checked the forums and although this question has been asked many times, it seems there has been no real answer if the part is readily available. There has to be an adaptor fitting that can connect the 5mm reservoir lines to the 7mm master cylinder line. When using the blue line, it will loosen up over time at the reservoir....you cannot clamp it tight enough. Sure it fits fine at the dual master cylinder. A barbed fitting 5mm to 7mm would work fine. Are they available? Thanks |

or a 1/4 inch to 5/16 brass plumbing connector. check out hardware and auto part stores..

I ordered those today...I believe that is exactly what I need. Thank You!...Went to all the local stores and tried to find, NONE were reducer fittings. |

Can someone describe how this fitting works on the ‘67 m/c reservoir? Can’t quite visualize the setup. _________________ 1960 beetle

This fitting connects 2 different sized hoses to each other. What more is there to visualize? One size hose goes to the master, the other size hose goes to the reservoir. _________________ Brian

Buy a cheap plastic fuel filter. The common one. Cut off the inlet and outlet nipples. Those work well as adaptors as they are stepped from smaller dia to bigger. _________________ 1971 1302LS Convertible (RHD) owned since '74
