Kind of clever and a rare part that blanking cover for the OG taillight hole.

I figured it was real it's just that I'm not knowledgeable on Hursts and wondered if there ever was a Hurst made for the later bumper.

Looks nice but I think this is 3-4x the value?
The demand is low for Bucket Trucks and similar utility vehicles.

They just lowered the price, only $75,000 now!

Anybody want to buy an "extremely rare...half cab?" They're the "rarest of the rare!" Haha. I hope it's a typo and he meant $13,000. That would have at least been a fair deal without knowing condition underneath-interior's nice, though...

Price and description error aside, that does look like a nice truck. Not $31K nice, but nice nonetheless. Better than the other trucks that have appeared in the whines thread in the last few months.

Why don't sellers post clear pictures of the underside though? That's how I determine whether any old vehicle is worth a second look.

Yes, I was thinking that's a nice truck!

Not $31K though, that's near mint original condition territory for a Single Cab

More like a 5/8 cab, but I'm with ya haha. So much more badass: just a driver and his load - no place for annoying passengers.

Does anyone think this 61-63 low hinge cargo door is even worth $300. The guy may not know it is for a 61-63. But both hinges cut on the door side and inner bottom is rusted. How much og paint will you have by the time you can get it mounted to a bus.
I'm not sure even for $100 and no shipping I would even buy it.

Looks like only the top hinge cut. What you see is what you'd get on OG paint. The outer bottom looks intact and solid. Even the inner could be treated and used or KF that part. Price I can't say. Is the door still curved or has it been tweaked?

...Agree on the front 'Hurst' and rear overriders and mirrors being added.

That's Joe Gunyan's truck. He's alive and well so not sure how the seller "inherited" it...
I just talked to him about a week ago and two people are selling it for him.
It's neat but kinda useless unless he got the bucket working...it never did the whole time he's had it.
The Hurst is a real one though. It has the stamping right on it and he had that on there long before any repos were ever made.
The orange bay window lift truck for sale in the classifieds used to be his too...but someone else owns it now.
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2188260

Thanks for the info on the Hurst.

This one sold at an auction here in Tucson a few weeks ago for around 6k....

Ad says “some rust “. And the Titanic had “some leakage” lol

For $14.5k, a few undercarriage pics would be helpful. Wonder why not ? Smile

I like his huge entryway / covered garage entry.
Probably nice when it's 120F in Yuma
