Hi,
I have a 1978 Super B Convertible and am having a heck of a time locating an air flow meter for my little car...
I sure would appreciate any help. I live in BC Canada. |

The price listed and the price you pay are different. If your a VW person you need a German contact to negotiate with the seller. Long term, for hard to find parts this makes it a lot easier.
No sprechen sie deutsch makes it a bit hard to talk to a German who does not speak english. |

People who criticise high prices should learn the lesson, if the seller is not desparate to sell, if you wait long enough the item will sell when the right person connects.
My view on item prices for hard to find items, if it sells quickly the price is not high enough. |

I do not know how to fix this. All I can say is it all works fine for me with what I use, Firefox. |

Unless you had an engine fire you don't need a new Air flow meter.
Most issues with Air flow meter can be repaired or reworked.
Do a search here in the Samba Forums for Air flow meter too see & learn.
I will add that I couldn't find a Air Flow Meter for a '78 Beetle,
But I did find for '78 Bus at Busdepot, may be if you call they can hook you up with getting your Air Fuel Meter rebuilt.
