the rear apron on a split would not have had cut outs... and obviously they are not needed for the current configuration. The doors would have one piece windows, the later doors are definitely a disappointment on a split.
It looks pretty but i don't think it has the "it" factor for a hotted up split _________________ regards

I wouldn’t buy it because I would want to change the doors ( are they even ribbed doors ) Apron and get a 3 fold then get tail lights and make fenders look correct. Even if you don’t have the right parts you should make them look correct. But I would guess 10,000 if it’s a driver _________________ 59 bug slammed with cosmics |

Looks like it could be a fun Cal-Look style car. But, too much info is unknown to give a good price range.
Does it have original pan
What seats?
What are the fenders From ?
What type of rust repairs were done?
My advice, don't buy it without looking thoroughly in person and have a local expert on this vintage of car help you. _________________ https://instagram.com/mr.ogpaint

Wish I had brought that car many years ago but had a young family and too many projects, I'ts come a long way, looks great! You have definitely saved it.
I remember most of its history and 'upgrades' ex south america, is an 11G shell. Look forward to seeing it some time in Kaikoura. |

Was imported as a parts car from Argentina with another...cut for 3 fold then put back together with a 2 fold opening. 54 is the earliest we got down here originally, only a very small number of splits have been imported later. |

This car was originally a 11G,it was in fact imported in from BBT Belgium many years ago as a bare shell along with a '52 hardtop that was in far better condition, the better hardtop was restored and during the process inherited the roof off the rough 11G and came out a very nice Azure Blue car...even though it has had the roof graft.
The remnants of what was left was then hashed together out of cars of many years and put back on the road in various guises over the years....as far as Splitwindow parts on this car...really only the hacked bare shell survives and now with a smaller hole in the roof.
Whats it worth?...I'd say you have more into it than its true value. |

Ahh, that makes more sense that it came in with the blue car and was grafted, I remember being told it came from south America with the beige CHCH one. |
