I have a stripper that belong to my late uncle. Its been setting for the past 12 years. What would the value of some thing like this be? Before he passed the motor was full rebuilt 1600 dual port. He trailered it with his greyhound buss motorhome. He had dealer plate on it so its never been registered.

Probably doesn't help, but I've only seen one come for sale in 15 years, and that one was in Oregon.

Cool car. I like it. Sort of a Towd you sit IN rather than ON.

"Rare" doesn't always equate to value on a buggy. You can even have a unique buggy and its not worth more because of that.

Condition is a better yardstick. A well built, good running and cleanly wired basic kit car can go for anywhere from 4500-6500 bucks. Up or down from there based on attributes or shortcomings, and a particular person's desire to have that particular car.

Thanks for the reply's And your right this is a unique buggy I have never seen another face to face.

As you can see the 12 years in the sun and weather didn't help the seat covers.

The Corsair Stripper Dune Buggys are fairly rare....only 150 made.

I found one last year in Manteca, CA on Craig's List.

I am slowly rebuilding it.

Rare and value are two different things..

Rear means not many available or made...

Value is what somebody is willing to pay for something...

Yes, after I get about $10,000 in mine and lots of hours of work it will be lucky to be worth $5,000......but I am having fun.

A Stripper just came up on Facebook's marketplace if anyone is interested. Texas, of course, since it can't be registered there anymore: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/40555896...tn__=-UC-R
