Going to the shock mounts is very nice idea and clean looking, but it does not work quite as well because it's ultimately taking a longer path.

Angling the bars, to transfer the load to the shock mounts, is not the most effective route.
The vertical bars you have is a much stouter design
The "traction bar" under the rear of the engine case works well because it is taking advantage of 12" of leverage!

That Redline Heavy Shockproof oil is Bizarre. I switched to it also, and it feels super heavy but clicks into gear in the morning like its thin, but its not.... Very Happy

Yep! Seems like decent stuff. I was a little bit hesitant to use it but Scott is the tranny man, not me! Time will tell, but I am betting it will all be good.

Man, this tranny is soooo sweet. I still am dicking with the LM1, so test drives mainly. But the tranny is so nice. It “clicks” into gear, easily. I was too young to have ever driven a Bug off the showroom floor but I would imagine that is the way the trannies felt! Nice and tight, crisp shifts, like a Porsche box!
