Going to the shock mounts is very nice idea and clean looking, but it does not work quite as well because it's ultimately taking a longer path. |
Angling the bars, to transfer the load to the shock mounts, is not the most effective route.
The vertical bars you have is a much stouter design
The "traction bar" under the rear of the engine case works well because it is taking advantage of 12" of leverage! _________________ Jesucristo es mi Señor y Salvador! |

That Redline Heavy Shockproof oil is Bizarre. I switched to it also, and it feels super heavy but clicks into gear in the morning like its thin, but its not.... |

Yep! Seems like decent stuff. I was a little bit hesitant to use it but Scott is the tranny man, not me! Time will tell, but I am betting it will all be good.
Man, this tranny is soooo sweet. I still am dicking with the LM1, so test drives mainly. But the tranny is so nice. It “clicks” into gear, easily. I was too young to have ever driven a Bug off the showroom floor but I would imagine that is the way the trannies felt! Nice and tight, crisp shifts, like a Porsche box! _________________ Jimbo
