Finally cross brace time. Many welds on the way. Can't seem to prep enough for the mess.

Thanks/\ I figure the chassis will get painted 2 more times in dp90. Funny how it fits one day and no where near fitting the next day. NOW all the bolts fit perfect.

How do you get "stuff" out of the cross braces when it falls in? (I am thinking about the number of lost nuts and bolts I have never found.....)

Amazing fab skills

It gets covered by upholstery or leather or something, not decided yet. But it will get covered. A few more welds then the body comes back off and frames goes on Rotissori to be fully welded. When all finished it will be covered up. We planned on not ever seeing those dimple holes even though they look kinda cool. They are for support only. Stay tuned to see the inserts that will go between braces.

Your skills are amazing! If I could make dimples that even and nice I would cover my car in holes! It reminds me of WWII aircraft.

Using strategically positioned weights at the front to prevent oil canning during welding. Large chromed hydraulic cylinder mounting pins work great.

Front welds now done. Last ones to do today are the seat area outer braces running F to R. Then body comes off again.

What a creation, it takes me a while looking at your work to try to understand it... so cool!
