Hey folks, just moved into my new garage, and the PO left this tool rack system. I can't get ahold of them, and I'm wondering if anybody knows what system it is so I can buy attachments for it?

Thanks!
Robbie

Those look similar to the elfa racks that the container store sells.

I believe those are just a slot board style system. Think a more modern version of peg board. Lowes and others sell all sorts of hanging attachments for that style of board, you can also get 4X8 sheets of it that is stained more decorative.

Link to Home Depot's page of attachments.

https://www.homedepot.com/b/Storage-Organization-G...5yc1vZccyu

Hope this helps.

Popcorn ceiling in the Garage?
Former owners had a big recreation room.

They have a wide and narrow slot side, I find it Interesting how every other one is reverse hung,.

toss them in the dumpster. you don't want shit hanging from walls where you work, let alone 3' for your car.

So where is this new garage? Are you living in the garage or is there a living unit attached?

Popcorn ceilings. Yipes!

We hang very heavy stuff from that type of channel here at work everyday. $75k environmental instruments in stainless cases.

We use spring nuts to bolt things to them.

As long as they're properly anchored, you should have no issues.

The place is a cobbled together duplex from a house built in the sixties. I’m not entirely sure the owners know what studs are. Laughing

Funny, I live next to a Lowe’s hardware, and the racks seem to be the Home Depot system... I’ll probably get some eye loops for it and tie my surfboard to it when I leave on my next cross country trip.

Thanks everyone!

I like to hang stuff up in my garage. Today I made a chisel holder for my garage from a piece of furring strip.

I liked that so much I made a file holder while I had my tools out.

I doubt that the moderator would allow me to upload such photos here as they aren't technically VW-related; go to my post #2162 here to see the photos. http://www.mazdatrucking.com/forum/showthread.php/13579-Off-Topic/page109

Yes, "other" pictures of a younger Mrs. Cusser do exist, but I don't think the moderator will let me host them or post them on this site !!!

Ah crap......I just saw this and it seems you have edited the picture in the Mazda forums. Was it as good as the "painting-at-the-Cusser-household"?

The picture near the tool hanger was a professional model, not Mrs. Cusser.

The "painting-at-the-Cusser-household" photos of Mrs. Cusser painting while starkers so she wouldn't get paint on her clothes are her and really happened, and more than once. And cleanup afterwards was fun too.

Picture I was referring to was an outdoor scene tastefully done while not really showing anything still done in a way which makes you look. Well done sir😉
