Here's a few pics of the Aug 58' Mango mentioned on the previous page. I've collected most of the missing interior pieces for it. Hope to have it on the road in the not too distant future.

Thanks! Bought the property for the view and the shop and it came with a free house. The shop just needs a lift and some way to warm it up in the winter. It gets pretty cold here.

I had to check my vin again, the mango is only 21 buses earlier than your panel. That panel camper is sweet btw !! _________________ Brandon |

Damn I bought this bus for 600 bucks out of that yard. I knew it was high tail light but had no clue it was that early. _________________ GFK

Oh wow that's too cool. I was going to ask you about the doors but figured they were probably long gone. Very nice! _________________ Brandon |

This appears to be an August 58 transitional bus with Silver-White pressed bumpers.

Just a FYI, the Ford car behind the bus is a 1959 model. It could easily be built at about the same time as the August 1958 bus. Unusual to see a Ford in a foreign land as this appears to be. Might be US military base as the Ford is the cheap model with the small hubcaps. government transportation pools tended to buy the cheapest specced models in quantity.
Also, did you notice said Aug 58 bus has semaphores? Typical of Euro specced cars. _________________ Al Brase

In the Netherlands the license plates are given out on certain dates.
These are some others where i know the dates from.
RS-45-38 = 21-07-1958
RS-45-58 = 03-09-1958
RS-46-92 = ??-??-??
RS-48-84 = 17-07-1958
RS-51-93 = 05-08-1958
The RS-46-92 could be given its license in 08-1958. |
