Roll up side door? |
Kinda cool. I'm wondering if the door actually slides up across the ceiling vs. rolls around a barrel like a real roll-up. If a barrel, that would make for a nice headache once in a while. _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

Pretty cool picture, made in Holland
Does it have signwriting on the roof too or is that just my imagination?
Btw the 'haarden' and 'kachels' means fireplaces and stoves. During those days most stoves burned on parafilm oil or coal. It was very common to have your stocks refilled by a delivery service. _________________ My 1958 PGSG project topic |

I see writing on the roof too.
Thanks for the translation and stove info _________________ How to Post Photos

Is it possible it's something leaning up there? It seems like whether retractable or roll-up would have some signs of wear and tear in the front and rear of the opening. Is it right hand drive or Double Roll-up if? |

the roll up would allow unloading on both sides, without having the doors get in the way. Not sticking into the road when open. would even allow driving with the door open. and since this is a semaphore bus, it would not break the semaphores off in the heat of battle _________________ regards

Meet the 1958 FTD Florist Telegraph Delivery Bus. The company is still around, but now called Florist Transworld Delivery.

This sweet bus belongs to a good friend of mine. It is also a factory walkthru, safari, and ambulance fan bus. Pretty much rust free too. Enjoy!
