Quick question.....Is there any test or sure fire way to tell if your clutch is slipping?

I feel my buggy was a bit quicker and had a bit more pull off the line. It could be my imagination but I usually go with my instincts. Seems to pull great in all other gears, just doesn't seem to have the same snap in first.

Could it be an adjustment?

When the clutch slips you can usually hear and feel it. The engine will rev higher but the car won't seem to go as fast as the engine is turning.

If your low RPM seems to be lacking is speed and power it might be time for a tune up.

Clutch slippage rears it's ugly head in high gear on the hills first and works it's way down. If it's holding in high gear then the clutch is not your problem. By the time you can feel is in first gear it most likely will no longer hook up at all in the top 2 gears.

Thanks for the help! Yeah, the car has never run better. Just doesn't have the same snap off the line. Regardless, thanks for the response.
