Welcome! It's usually better to put photos in the gallery so they don't disappear over time .

Awesome find!!! Nice original components. I'd get that motor running and roll it just like it is. |

yep running the numbers so far, the body is a march 58 build, April 58 pan and april engine. Paint is also Agave green which I find cool since it was from the oval era, carried over into early 58 builds. |

Made some more progress in October. Pan was steam washed and everything came apart without issue. one side of the pan is cut out now and have a little fab work to do at the front before I put in a new section.

Wow!
X-measure your pan for square, just in case, before you weld in floors.
If you want to be extra careful, just tack your floors for now until you can do a trial drop with the body on old heater channels, to make sure everything lines up.
You can get 19 ga floors these days (best quality).
I'm puzzled why the hubcaps weren't black logoed, because they have a very original vibe.
Have you seen KlassicFab's '57 heater channels and floors? |

Is that a heated pressure washer? I think I need one of those. LOL. |

Amazing amount of crud packed in the mc area and on top of the trans... even more amazing is how well the pressure washer did! Car looks a lot better/solid than I imagined. Props for rescuing it. |

I did the measurements on this side before I cut it out. I looked at classic fabs floors but ive decided to go with WW floors, I will however use the KF heater channels as they are needed on the body, and I hear they are the best fitment. |
