This was going to be my entry for 294 but I hesitated as there is not much Buggy showing.

Does this complete #210?

If so I want extra points for the color theme and the uninvited guest! Wink

I think billy bass ended up on a yard sale table (for cheap). In the spirit of halloween comes before Christmas, yvwn to a pumpkin patch. Don't think I saw that in the last 100. Sure is more fun completing them than picking the next one.

An orange grove is the closest thing I’ll get to a pumpkin patch. They’re round and orange.

Does a 6-pack of pumpkin flavored Oktoberfest beer count???

The beer sucked.

I’m a KY Bourbon guy. Straight with 1 cube of ice.

When I drink beer, plain old every day beer is my thing. I don’t care for all that dark, fruity, flavored, fancy pants, hi falootin stuff. Give me a PBR, Bud Light, Lite, etc that’s ice cold and I’m good.

Find a place with ice cold beer AND frosted glass mugs and I’m all in!!!

I gave away 2 cases of fancy beer last week. At a VW buddy’s house one night working on cars and his neighbor gave us both cases of free beer. Filled up the trunk of my 79. It was mostly nasty fancy beer. I kept the case of Imperial. She dates some beer distributor and he gives her all this stuff and she doesn’t drink. She stacks it in her garage and gives it to us for helping her get her mower running, etc.

You got that right!!! I never could stand pumpkin spiced coffee creamer either. I like French Vanilla, but this time of year my wife buys the damn pumpkin stuff. Mad

Perhaps I'll substitute fine bourbon in my coffee in October!!! Laughing

I went to a known pumpkin patch this morning, Hillridge Farms which has been reinventing itself as a farm based theme park/petting zoo/general store. Unfortunately, the pumpkin patch in the front has been converted to parking & the property manager wasn't around to grant access.

Love your 72 Baja Championship SE Volkswagen wheels. Only 1,000 of those cars made with those Lemmerz wheels. The black centers distinguish them from the Lemmerz marathon wheels. The aluminum VW center caps are tough to find. Luckily my 79 had all 4 centers on those wheels when I bought it.

Interesting, I wonder if there were any differences in width/offset or was it just the black centers?

Yes, the Baja special edition wheels are 4.5” wide. The regular Lemmerz marathon wheels on the 74 Jeans export and on some of the 79/80 Mexican beetles were all silver and I believe were 5.5” wide. Can’t recall on the width for sure on those later ones. I believe the aluminum centers with the raised VW logo was just on the 72 Baja se.

The Baja se in the black area has stamping on the humps between the lugs “72”, VW logo, size “4 1/2j x 15”, model # “1511”

I’ll be repainting my wheels in the near future. I ordered the proper L91 paint from WW and satin black.
